Subject: Another Sprint PCS Bill
Posted by: nrohlem

I received another Bill from Sprint PCS over the weekend. This one resembles a more traditional Bill much like you would receive monthly if you were a customer. Rather than make another telephone call to Sprint PCS, I decided to e-mail them. The Sprint PCS Web provides a method to send e-mail to them via a web form. You can enter your Name, Telephone Number, E-mail address, Topic, and an E-mail message, but only up to 1200 characters.

So, I sent an e-mail to them today via this mechanism. I’ll be sure to update the site when more information comes in.

Oh, I forgot to mention. The most recent Bill from Sprint PCS explained that I had no charges during this bill period. Well of course not, I am not a Sprint PCS customer.

Subject: The saga continues
Posted by: nrohlem

Well, the saga continues. I received a letter from Sprint PCS yesterday dated February 19, 2006, and I quote.

Our records as of February 19, 2006, indicate that your PCS Account with Sprint has a balance of $273.10. This amount is currently due.

Sprint PCS was kind enough to provide a toll free number to call to discuss payment options. I called the number. The customer service representative explained that I owed $273.10 because they have charged that to my credit card twice, but both times I was given a credit. Therefore, I still owed the money. I explained the situation to her and she told me that I needed to call another customer service number.

I called the second number, pushed the appropriate buttons and said the proper phrases to connect to a CS representative. Both times I was transferred to a CS representative but the calls never went through. The line was disconnected. I tackle this another day.

One would think that if I was issued a credit twice now, that Sprint PCS would get the idea. I guess that the two departments within Sprint PCS have not had an opportunity to compare notes on this.
